A Trusted Partner for Aging Eyes

As we get older, it’s normal for vision to change but blurry sight, fading contrast, and difficulty reading shouldn’t be brushed off as “just age.” We provide vision care for seniors, including diagnosis, treatment, and co-management of common conditions like glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.

Many of our senior patients come to us through word of mouth or referrals from nearby towns where this level of care just isn’t available. We take that responsibility seriously. If you’re managing multiple health conditions, mobility limitations, or recent changes to your eyesight, we’re here to help clearly, patiently, and without rushing.

Medical & Optical Support for Ongoing Vision Needs

We provide medical and optical support for:

  • Cataracts: Diagnosis, monitoring, and pre-op consultations in-office.

  • Glaucoma: Eye pressure testing, OCT imaging, and long-term care.

  • Macular Degeneration: Ongoing evaluation using OCT, ERG, and retinal scans.

  • Diabetic Eye Disease: Early detection and treatment of diabetic retinopathy.

  • Dry Eye: Scleral lenses, punctal plugs, artificial tears, and nutraceuticals.

  • Low Vision: Tools and strategies for permanent vision loss due to macular degeneration (AMD), stroke, or advanced glaucoma.

Every care plan is personalized and we explain everything clearly so you or your family members know exactly what to expect.

Cataract Surgery, Simplified

We work closely with Georgia Eye Clinic to provide in-office cataract consultations twice a month, so you can stay local for everything except the surgery itself.

That means fewer appointments, less driving, and direct communication between your optometrist and surgeon every step of the way.

We use hospital-grade ocular Imaging

You don’t have to travel far to get high-level diagnostics. Our tools include:

  • Optomap® widefield retinal imaging—often eliminates the need for dilation.

  • Zeiss OCT allows early detection of macular and optic nerve changes.

  • Corneal topography and eye pressure testing supports dry eye and glaucoma care.

  • ERG (electroretinography) helps detect retinal function issues that may not appear in standard imaging.

We walk through every result with you and keep caregivers in the loop when needed.
