Do Stellest® lenses look different from regular glasses?
No, Stellest® lenses look just like regular single-vision lenses. The HALT technology is integrated into the lens design in a way that’s invisible to the eye, so your child can wear them without anyone knowing they’re a specialty lens.
How long does my child need to wear Stellest® lenses to see results?
Clinical studies show that Stellest® lenses are most effective when worn for at least 12 hours per day. The more consistently they’re worn, the more effectively they can help slow myopia progression.
Are Stellest® lenses covered by insurance?
Some vision insurance plans may cover part of the cost of Stellest® lenses as prescription eyewear. However, because they are a specialty myopia control lens, coverage can vary.
Can Stellest® lenses be combined with other myopia treatments?
In some cases, yes, especially in children with rapidly progressing myopia. Stellest® lenses may be combined with low-dose atropine drops or monitored alongside other therapies. Our optometrists will determine the best combination based on your child’s needs.
