Optometrist
Dr. Larrious Collins brings over 20 years of experience in full-scope optometry, with a steady, patient-centered approach that fits seamlessly into the care model at Commerce Family Eyecare.
Originally from Monticello, Mississippi, Dr. Collins earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Alcorn State University before completing his Doctor of Optometry at Indiana University School of Optometry in 2006. Since then, he has cared for patients of all ages across the Metro Atlanta area, providing everything from pediatric eye exams and contact lens fittings to surgical co-management and ongoing support for chronic eye conditions.
Dr. Collins takes time to help patients understand their eye health, make confident decisions about treatment, and feel at ease during their visit, whether it’s their first exam or part of long-term care. He also enjoys helping patients find glasses and lenses that feel comfortable, look good, and work with their daily life.
Outside the office, Dr. Collins enjoys traveling with his wife and children, watching movies, and keeping up with sports whenever he can.
